The Healing of the Nations
"For by the power of my Spirit created I...all things both spiritual and temporal."
                                                                                                           (D&C 29:31)

Listening to a moving performance of the Brahm's Requiem last Saturday night, I was reminded of the great truth of life that  "...all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass.  The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away."  (1 Peter 1:24)

My thoughts were led to the symbolism of the Tree of Life mentioned in the scriptures:

"And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.   In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life...and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations."    (Revelation 22:1-2)

Ezekial saw something similar:

"The healing waters shall issue out of the sanctuary and "the fruit thereof shall be for (food), and the leaf thereof for medicine."   (Ezekial 47:12)

When the Master Healer comes to reign, there will not only be a spiritual healing of the nations, but a physical healing as well.  He will teach us about all those nutrient-dense super foods that would be available to us right now to heal our bodies and minds--if we just knew.  Any of these sound  familiar: camu camu berry, chaga, lakanto, schizandra, miso, wakami, hijiki, dulse, arame, shatavari, chlorella, reishi, shilajit, chuchuhuasi, moringa?   Well, then you are ahead of me!

I stand in awe of the gifts that are available to us right now and look forward to that Great Day of Healing!

"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant
mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the
dead, to an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away..."
                                                                                                                                (1 Peter 1:3)

Happy Easter!
