The Bread of Life....
....the answer to mycotoxins
In a nutshell, the U.S. Government says:
Molds and their mycotoxins are extremely common in foods.
These secondary metabolites can enter the food chain in the field, during storage or at later points.
They are the most important chronic dietary risk factor, higher than synthetic contaminants, plant toxins, food additives or pesticide residues.
Contaminants are sometimes diverted into animal feed and produce contaminated meat and milk.
Many mycotoxins survive processing into flours and meals and may not be detectable without special assay equipment.
They can cause carcinogenicity, inhibition of protein synthesis, immunosuppresion, dermal irritation and other metabolic perturbations.
Their connection to disease is difficult to prove, nevertheless, there is sufficient evidence from animal models and human epidemiological data to conclude that mycotoxins pose an important danger to human and animal health....the incidence of mycotoxins may be more common than suspected.
They are continuing research to determine a safe dose.

(It's a bit heavy, so don't eat too much at a time. Not like white fluff!)
