A Nutty Experiment
One of my subscribers decided to test her sprouting skills on "raw" almonds. She purchased some so-called raw almonds from her local big box store and she also purchased some raw unpasteurized almonds from an almond farm. She wanted to make sure that the almonds she consumed were indeed a living, healthful food.
Almonds take longer to sprout than smaller seeds, but she was patient. After two weeks of keeping these two nuts in the same growing environment, her patience paid off. She sent me the following picture:
